Great Wakering Pre-School was established in October 2010. We are conveniently located at The Old School in Great Wakering High Street (Opposite The White Hart Pub).

Little Wakering Pre-School opened in January 2017 to meet the growing demand for childcare provision in the area. The setting is ideally situated at 25-29 Little Wakering Road, Great Wakering.

Both settings provide excellent facilities, & benefit from large & secure outdoor garden areas. We provide high quality and affordable childcare and education through a wide range of play activities and learning opportunities for children aged 2 years to school age. We develop the personal, social, emotional and cognitive skills of every child, working in partnership with parents. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and provide a wide range of stimulating activities, planned to ensure they meet the child's individual abilities and interests, are age appropriate, based in play and promote an environment of independent learning. Our provision promotes acceptance and understanding of special needs and is accessible to all children.

We offer 15 hours (30 if eligible to Extended Entitlement) of Free Early Education Entitlement per week for all children aged 3 & 4. Eligible 2 year olds are able to access 15 hours of FEEE per week. Our settings accept payment via the Government Tax-Free Childcare Scheme, the Childcare Grant Payment Service & via a number of childcare voucher schemes for any non-funded sessions.
